The City of Caliente would like the citizens to know that when Public Works attempted to lower the flag to half-staff to honor 9/11 and Charlie Kirk there was a chain malfunction which would not allow the flag to move. The City of Caliente has moved all other city flags to half-staff and we will be working on repairing the flag pole as soon as possible.
